Fred C. Macaluso has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry working with a select group of individuals, families, corporations and organizations to help them build, manage, preserve and transition their wealth. He is the President and Founder of PVI Capital Advisors which is an independent financial practice based out of Oak Brook, IL.
In August 2018, Fred founded Mission Wealth Advisors which was renamed PVI Capital Advisors in September 2020. Prior to founding his own independent practice in 2018, Fred was a First Vice President-Investment Officer with Wells Fargo Advisors where he was recognized as a Platinum Council Advisor in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2019 and 2020*. Prior to Wells Fargo Advisors he also worked with Wachovia Securities and Prudential Securities, predecessor firms of Wells Fargo Advisors, between 2000 and 2009. Fred started his career in 1998 with one of the oldest New York Stock Exchange listed practices Stifel, Nicolaus and Company. Fred also holds Series 66, Series 7 and Series 24 registrations.
Prior to his career in the financial services industry he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University of Chicago. Fred pursued additional training from Depaul University’s Continuing and Professional Education Program. This program focused on investment and insurance planning, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.
Mr. Macaluso specializes in comprehensive investment planning and investment risk management. He is routinely invited to companies and organizations to conduct seminars on his client advisory process, comprehensive retirement planning and investment planning.
Fred is President and Co-founder of 5130 Ministries, which is a ministry focused on mentoring and guiding high school and college aged teenagers. Fred resides in Wheaton, Illinois with his wife Jacqueline and their four children, Averey, Jillian, Luke and Matthew.
The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from the previous year, and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structure.
